Hanna Lykke is a crime and public safety reporter in Southern California. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied English and journalism. While attending Cal, she worked at Berkeley’s paper document, The Daily Californian, covering city and campus issues. She was also the paper’s first-ever sports copy chief. Driven to understand the dynamics of crime in Southern California, Hanna interned at the Orange County Public Defender’s office after graduating. Born and raised in Orange County, she is passionate about showing her community through a local lens.
