Now, Curtis is set to appear in Halloween endsthe final film in David Gordon Green’s reboot trilogy and the actor’s final appearance in a Halloween movie. Four years after the events of Halloween killsIn which Michael Myers survived an ambush by a Haddonfield mob and later killed Karen Nelson (Judy Greer), Strode will face the iconic killer one last time. while on Jimmy Kimmel Live!the titular host asked Curtis if Halloween ends will be the last Halloween film in which she will star, to which the actor replied in the affirmative. Kimmel admitted that he “finds it hard to believe“because of the franchise’s popularity and the fact that Strode”was shot dead in one of these Halloween movies.“Anyway, Curtis remained adamant that” Halloween ends is her last appearance. To finally put the matter to rest, Kimmel presented a document for Curtis to sign stating that her soon-to-be Halloween appearance will indeed be her last. As the audience yells not to sign it, she puts pen to paper and signs with her name. Read what the document said below and watch the moment above.

Hereby swears, under penalty of perjury, that “Halloween Ends” (2022) will be the last Halloween movie I will ever appear in. Forever, in all sequels and multiverse. Enforceable by the Haddonfield, Illinois Police Department.

Laurie Strode is definitely going to die on Halloween, right?

Although the document is not contractually binding, Curtis appears willing to leave the role with the humorous gesture on Kimmel’s talk show. While she said she will never completely rule out the possibility of returning, Curtis likely sees no way for her to return to the franchise after Halloween ends‘ release. With Green previously stating that the film is a farewell to Curtis playing Strode, it’s unclear if the character will die again at the hands of Myers.

Halloween ends Strode will face Myers one last time in a fight to the death, but the question remains about the character’s fate. Curtis previously teased the final shot of the upcoming movie, explaining that Halloween ends ends with a contemplative shot of Strode sitting in a car. The actor’s comments may indicate that Strode survived her last fight against Myers, but it’s still possible she could sustain a fatal wound during their fight. The public won’t have to wait much longer to see what really happens to Strode when Halloween ends premieres in theaters and on streaming Friday, October 14.
