Halloween Ends Fails To Answer Our Biggest Michael Myers Question

The end of the H40 trilogy was a satisfying conclusion, but decades later it again failed to answer Michael Myers’ biggest question.

Warning: Major Halloween spoilers end below!Halloween ends closed the H40 trilogy starting in 2018, but unfortunately it didn’t answer the biggest question about Michael Myers. Through all the canon films in the Halloween saga, Michael Myers has managed to escape death countless times, including situations where he should have died. Of Ends since it’s the franchise’s final film for now, audiences expected an important question to be answered: is Michael Myers immortal or a supernatural being?

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The question of whether Michael Myers is immortal or supernatural in the… Halloween movies was only partially answered. While the Halloween ends end answers whether evil really dies, there is no concrete explanation for why Myers is such a powerful human being. In the recent movie Halloween kills, the Haddonfield killer was ambushed by a city mob who repeatedly shot, beat and stabbed him. And while it looked like the killer was finally up for the count, it wasn’t, and he managed to kill his attackers and escape again. The fact that he was able to survive many attacks that would actually be fatal suggests to viewers that Myers is immortal or has some sort of supernatural abilities that prevent him from being killed as easily as the average human being. The last two films in the H40 trilogy indicate that he is more than a man, but Ends don’t answer correctly why Michael Myers could survive as long as he did.

Why it took so long to kill Michael Myers

Michael Myers finally died in Halloween ends after a massacre that first started at John Carpenter’s Halloween from 1978. That movie set up a sequel by eventually letting Michael escape, and it eventually spawned many other sequels that were eventually reconnected in favor of starting a new trilogy that continued the original story. Because there is a lot of audience who like the horror genre and the Halloween universe, it makes sense that Universal and other involved movie studios would think they’re making an incredible number of sequels to entice moviegoers to go to the theater to see a new entry.

Another explanation for why it took so long to kill Michael Myers is that the filmmakers behind this eternal saga of movies were probably able to come up with new stories that they thought would continue the story well. While the reception for the films has not always been positive, $800 million grossing at the worldwide box office proves that audiences will continue to watch Michael Myers murder innocent people with his inventive murders. Halloween ends might be the last movie in the franchise for now, but introducing a brand new killer to another city would be a creative way to keep it going.

How Halloween Ends The “Michael Myers Is Immortal” Debate

The “Michael Myers is immortal” debate officially came to an end after Michael Myers’ death in the final Halloween movie. After taking his body through a procession for the residents of Haddonfield to see, Laurie Strode disposed of Michael’s body at a car dump where his body was dumped in an industrial shredder. If at any point Michael Myers was immortal until his death in… Halloween endshe is no more, and he cannot return in future films in this form unless some supernatural aspect is introduced.
